Chaco is the second largest primary forest of Latin America, called the "impenetrable forest" for its incredibly dense formation. 

This forest is the only source for gaiac wood, known locally as 'Palo Santo'.​ This region is also known by perfumers to be the source of petitgrain essential oil, of natural extracts of maté leaves and for being an important origin of citrus cultivation.



Ingredients from plants growing in Paraguay : petitgrain essential oil, yerba maté absolute, guaiac wood (palo santo) essential oil. 

Other key ingredients : bergamot essential oil, lemon oil sfuma, sweet orange essential oil, cedar Atlas essential oil, cedar Virginia essential oil.

In Paraguay, we partner with the Mbaracayu educational center (Fundacion Moises Bertoni).

The Mbaracayu educational center is located in a biosphere reserve, surrounded by communities farming petitgrain and yerba maté. This school teaches environmental sciences and agroecology to young indigenous women from the region. Our project is aiming at evolving the cultivation of petitgrain and maté in a sustainable model, with integrated and regenerative farming practices, associating cash and food crops, and agroforestry. Advanced practices will be formalized in a model farm and promoted with 10 champion farmers funded by Nissaba. We will then link the young students of the school through a specific curriculum.
