Conscious beauty

Nissaba champions a regenerative business model in the world of niche perfumery

Circularity at the core

Nissaba’s circular approach is a humble commitment to designing consumer products in harmony with nature

Innovative & Circular Design

The only zero waste solution in niche

While most refill systems still generate waste through disposable recharges, our solution goes a step further: consumers purchase a refill, return their empty bottle, which we repurpose to create testers, and consumer can reuse the pump and cap.

Alternatively, if returned packaging isn’t possible, the recycling process remains highly efficient thanks to its label-free, undecorated design and separable components.

The lowest carbon footprint 100ml flacon

We estimate the total carbon footprint of the product is about 150 grams of Co2 in scope 3. This is achieved through minimalistic design, sourcing components close to manufacturing, and most importantly thanks to a very low weight of glass.

Our flacon weights 88 grams, thus minimizing the carbon footprint of the most important contributor to the overall carbon footprint.

Biobased and low footprint materials

The bottle features laser engraving instead of a paper label, while the fragrance name appears on a ribbon made from upcycled polyester.

The entire packaging contains minimal plastic, with paper and wood components sourced from FSC-certified materials.

With at least 90% of our ingredients from natural origin, we favor regenerative sources over extractive ingredient production.

Sharing Value

Nissaba dedicates 5% of total sales to fund purposeful projects, with the remainder reinvested into the brand. The impact funds support young entrepreneurs in cultivating perfume plants through resilient practices like regenerative agriculture and agroforestry, in combination with other crops. Nissaba partners with local agricultural schools to bring this vision to life. The brand's name reflects this mission : Nissaba, the ancient goddess of agriculture and writing, and patroness of the world’s first schools.
